My name is Eleanor and I am a current Creative Writing and Film student at the University of Reading. It sounds cliché to say I've been writing creatively for as long as I can remember but it's true! For as long as I've been experiencing stories I've wanted to pen my own and finding my unique voice has been a lifetime's journey that I'm sure will never fully end. I write both fiction and non-fiction, often finding ways to incorporate reflective personal narratives with the other-worldly. The root of my passion is for storytelling and all things escapist, in both theory and practice. From literature and folklore to video games and cinema trips, I adore the art of story craft, it's rich history and the perpetual relevance stories have on us as human beings.

My website may also be my portfolio, but it's also somewhere that I hope can act as a social ground for fellow daydreamers and story-lovers. Everyone hates an ice-breaker but I find this can be a fun one: if you could have any fictional job, what would it be?

I would love to be either a specialist in Monster Studies and Cryptozoology (although when it comes to academia there's a specialist for everything so maybe one day, who knows!) or I could see myself really enjoying being an Auto-Memory Doll from the Violet Evergarden series!
